I will start my coverage at the brides home or at a similar venue, if desired, and work through the rest of the day, including informal shots before and during the ceremony (where possible), and more formal group shots after the ceremony, and then will continue with informal shots until the start of the your reception. Other essentials like “cake cutting” can be covered during that time.
My style has always been what is called “reportage” and to me that means I see your wedding as an event and I want to capture as much of it as I can to form a record of your day.
Because of the way I work the more formal group shots are covered quickly and without undue fuss. My experience shows this provides happy and relaxed images and allows you and your guests to get on with enjoying your day!
I have been taking photographs for over twenty years and have worked in news and editorial photography, as well as for my own pleasure. One thing I have always done is worked in environments where you do not get a second chance. This makes producing the increasingly popular “natural” photographs at weddings and other events almost second nature.
I operate in Bristol and the surrounding area but would consider other areas subject to agreement on extra expenses and travelling time.
